Fourth Annual Socratic Dialogue Event of the GEH
On 12-th of May, the fourth and final edition of the ASDE took place at the Plant Research Unit of the Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) campus in Merelbeke-Melle, Belgium.
This last event focused on “Shaping the future of food: A multi-actor journey towards a sustainable bioeconomy”. The program provided a dynamic forum for discussion, learning and sharing experiences and networking in the fields of sustainable bioeconomy and food systems. To encourage active participation and exchange, the event combined a variety of formats including a keynote presentation, a panel discussion, an interactive workshop, a field visit and a fishbowl discussion.
The main objective of the ASDE series is to stimulate participation in joint programming initiatives, particularly in widening countries by bringing together relevant key actors from across the research and innovation ecosystem. The final event gathered 41 participants, 25 from the GEH consortium and 16 invited R&I representatives from 6 countries from Central and Eastern Europe and the Western Balkan region.
